AWENI Home-Grown Loofah Sponges are sourced in Okene, Kogi State where they are traditionally used to bathe. It is normal to find the local ladies with smooth, glowing skin. We pay a fair price for them, bring them to our factory where they are washed in boiling vinegar water and tidied up to be presented to our wonderful customers. Don't be deceived by the dry hardness... the minute the loofah is wet for a bath it presents a soft firmness that's perfect for a refreshing, exfoliating bath session.
